Book Clubs
How to Sign Up
Signups start in person, the second Saturday of every month for the next month’s meetings (e.g., signup in July for August). If you can’t make it in person, you can send a buddy to signup on your behalf, call the store, or shoot us a DM via Instagram.
Book clubs are capped at 15 people with no waitlists. If you don’t get your first choice, we hope you will join another open book club meeting!
You can be a club “hopper” and pick whichever club you want each month, or a club “regular” and be a repeat attendee of the same club. We have lots of hoppers and regulars! Both options are welcome.
You can sign up for two clubs each month!
Book Club Regulars: We reserve up to 10 “early bird” spots for signups for regulars, since you have a less flexibility than hoppers. After you have attended at least 3 meetings of a specific club, you can signup as a regular for that club.
A Note for DMs/Calls: You must pickup your book within 5 days to guarantee your spot. Early Birds, you must pickup your book before signup Saturday.

Do Book Clubs Cost Anything?
Book clubs are free with the purchase of the book! Your purchase of a book from us covers the cost of staff time and overhead to run the meetings. If you already own the book for the meeting, you can pick another equivalent book to purchase.
A must-read note for all book clubs
We love our book clubs! They are a fun, welcoming space to connect through stories. Every attendee carves out time from their busy schedule to read and show up, and our moderators generously volunteer their time to lead our meetings. Please be kind, respectful, and come ready to listen with an open mind.
We know it can be frustrating when a high-demand club fills up, but there are always spots available in our other wonderful groups! Please extend that same kindness to our booksellers and fellow members, even if your first-choice club is full.
