We at Newnan Book Co. are fans of all things fantasy, and know that you are too!
To celebrate, we are hosting a weekend for genre fans. This is an all- ages event for kids and grownups to showcase their love of magical storytelling.
This weekend is free, but there are registration pages for specific events.
Throughout the weekend, you’re encouraged to participate in the tavern quest by visiting our neighboring “taverns” for themed drinks and achievements!
Printed schedules will be available at both the Newnan Carnegie and Newnan Book Co.
What the heck is this?

An opportunity for all ages to celebrate our love for fantasy! We have programming for kids, adults, and everyone throughout the day both Friday and Saturday. Choose your own adventure!
Should I wear a costume?

Totally! Lots of people will be throughout the weekend. But all are welcome. So whether you spent weeks crafting the perfect Aelin Ashryver Galathynius outfit or are showing up in your street clothes, come as you are!
Do I need to register?

There are several events that require us to cap attendance. Please register for those on Eventbrite. Otherwise, no registration needed!
What kind of fantasy is this for?

All kinds! High fantasy, romantasy, kids, folklore, new and old.
How do I participate in the quests?

There will be a kids quest and tavern quest throughout the weekend—both self-guided / choose your own adventure.
Kids Quest: You can start at either Newnan Book Co. or the Newnan Carnegie Library. Kids Quest cards will be available at both! Just be sure to come back by the bookstore after so you can get your signed certificates of bravery.
Tavern Quest: Questgoers are encouraged to travel in appropriate garb and with a band of fellow adventurers (aka, wear a costume and bring your friends!) You can use a digital quest card or grab one at the participating “taverns”:
